It's been awhile since I've posted. Working and wedding planning have become a priority in my life right now. Hannah came over yesterday & helped paint an old night stand my grandpa gave me. I love the results!

I've been wanting a painting for our living room for quiet some time.  Jordan insisted that he could paint one for me. I said, "Okay!" & we made a trip to Hobby Lobby & 3 days later this is what I had:

For the past 4 years Jordan has hidden this talent from me! I think it's absolutely fantastic & I can't wait for him to paint more for our home!

Well, it's been awhile. Thought I'd post some little decoration details around our house at the moment.

I try to decorate our small entry table for each season/holiday. I'll probably get bored with this & change it by the end of the week, though. 

This week I am thoroughly cleaning everything. I guess you can call it "fall cleaning" instead of "spring cleaning". We still have things we need to organize & sort. It will definitely be a process!

Well, it's been a busy couple of weeks. We moved into a new house. As you can tell, the beasties are exhausted as well.

Jordan & I put down a down deposit on a rent house the other day. Hopefully, within 2 weeks or so we can be moved in. This time I am going with  yellows, sages, olive greens & grays throughout the living room. For the kitchen I've decided on olive greens & reds. I'm still trying to decide on that. I made up that picture in Photoshop to mess around a bit with an idea. Let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions!

I've been trying to find a summery perfume. Sensual Amber by Bath & Body Works is my go to perfume & my all time favorite. But it's just a tad too musky for summer time.

So, since I love sunflowers I decided to try Sunflowers by Elizabeth Arden. I do like it, but more than one spray is a bit overkill. 

Pleasures by Estee Lauder is next on my list. It's perfect in every way & yet I have yet to own it.

What's your favorite perfume(s)? I'd love some suggestions!

My beautiful niece has been in the hospital since Monday night with viral meningitis. It's been a long week for my brother & sister-in-law. Today she will be able to come home. I'm just so happy that she's healthy now. I  call the top picture "Fight Club baby" because she's a definite fighter. 

Dexter

Let me introduce to you, my dog, Dexter, also known as Bud. I have a pet name for my pet. It's sickening. He is a lab/great dane mix. The lab is definitely more apparent, but he has the great dane personality. He's the biggest goofball.

Every Thursday I am usually able to schedule myself a day off. Thursdays are estate sale days. My mom & I check Craigslist & the Tulsa World for the sales then plan our route that way. So far, this game has been one of my favorite finds.

I'll try & keep this updated on my awesome finds.

I did it. I finally cut my hair. I have come to accept that I am meant to have shorter hair. It works better with my curls. So I did it. And so far I like it! 

Here is my favorite room that I did for my final project. I thought I'd share it.

The maple tree at Jordan's parents' house is always gorgeous this time of year.

Last Thursday Jordan & I went to Purple Glaze on Brookside. Today we picked up our masterpieces!

While my grandparents are on vacation, Jordan & I are housesitting. While I'm waiting for him to get off work, I decided to bake Mexican wedding cookies. Although, Ron's face may seem to be backing away from the cookies, he's actually overcome with how amazing they really are.
