Happy Fall, everyone!

I try to decorate our small entry table for each season/holiday. I'll probably get bored with this & change it by the end of the week, though.

This week I am thoroughly cleaning everything. I guess you can call it "fall cleaning" instead of "spring cleaning". We still have things we need to organize & sort. It will definitely be a process!

Later this week I will have a post of our Halloween!

Enjoy the beautiful weather!

"Libby looked at the woman standing in front of her. She was small and plain and had one of those short, mannish haircuts that women tended to get when they didn't want to bother about their looks anymore.

This little excerpt is from A Catered Halloween by Isis Crawford. I am currently reading this book and will not read another one of hers. Can you tell why? I love cheesy mystery books, but not enough to read where a woman degrades another woman.

On a happier note, here is a picture of my creepy kitty!

boo!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

la casa.

Well, it's been a busy couple of weeks. We moved into a new house. As you can tell, the beasties are exhausted as well.

Here's a glimpse into our living room! Eventually I'll post more pictures!

Living room idea

Jordan & I put down a down deposit on a rent house the other day. Hopefully, within 2 weeks or so we can be moved in. This time I am going with  yellows, sages, olive greens & grays throughout the living room. For the kitchen I've decided on olive greens & reds. I'm still trying to decide on that. I made up that picture in Photoshop to mess around a bit with an idea. Let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions!
